Krista Rahe
Rahe Hospitality Services is a training/consulting company meeting the needs of companies where great service and communication is important. They also work with companies doing business internationally. They use a fully integrated approach to people development to ensure that learning is transferred to the job, resulting in improved performance. Krista Rahe, principal of Rahe Hospitality Services, has worked in the travel industry for nineteen years and has been involved with teaching and training for the past fourteen years. While Director of Travel Industry Sales at the Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau from 1990-1996, Krista concentrated her efforts on international markets, and was responsible for industry training programs, including the "Go the Extra Smile" hospitality training program, which won the Travel Industry Association of America's Quality Service Award. She is the director and facilitator of World Bridge, a cross-cultural training program designed to help those working with international clients or guests better understand the cultural nuances of successfully hosting and working with these important people. Krista has studied and worked in Stockholm, Sweden, for three years and has worked in Japan for one year, teaching English and Western cultural orientation to Japanese business people. she is currently pursuing a master's degree in Organizational Learning, Performance, and Development at Colorado State University.
David
SladeDavid Slade is a bilingual English and Spanish language consultant who has traveled extensively through South and Central America and Spain. He has taught the English language in Seville, Spain, Mérida, Venezuela, and throughout Central America. He has tutored Spanish in Burlington, VT, and Boulder, CO, as well as Chinese students in English pronunciation and grammar. David worked as a Bilingual Family Service Coordinator at Head Start where he focused on working with Mexican families assessing and addressing their needs. David has also worked with special needs individuals who were monolingual Spanish speakers. David is president of Lanza Language Programs, teaching English and Spanish classes, performing orientation training in Spanish, executing customer service seminars in Spanish and doing document and policy translations.
