"Managing with Cultural Savvy"
How to Supervise a Multi-Cultural Staff

Overview: An interactive program customized to deal with issues which surface when supervising and managing employees of different cultures. The program looks at key values in cultures we work with so that we can understand behaviors different from ours, and have success in communicating, motivating, and managing these important employees.

Training Materials: Spiral-bound reference manual for each participant.

Methodology: Interactive with much audience participation through small group discussions and role-play exercises. The session will include humorous video scenarios illustrating important key points, tips for communicating with and managing people of other cultures, and comparison of other work styles with our own. A panel discussion involving several international employees may be facilitated in order to gain first-hand information on differing work issues and to strategize about the best ways to work together in a positive, comfortable environment.
